Katie-Jayne

Meet Katie-Jayne, the powerhouse behind Dogs Rock Ltd. As the owner, founder and head stylist, Katie discovered her passion for grooming in 2018, transitioning from a successful career in Senior Management at the age of 31.

Within just 11 months, she delved into grooming competitions, securing numerous trophies and rosettes. Her crowning achievement came in 2023 when she was named Pet Groomer of the Year at the Animal Star Awards.

Despite a brief hiatus due to illness, Katie’s dedication remains unwavering, thanks to the support of her husband, Matt, who joined the team, enabling her to continue pursuing her dream of a high street dog grooming salon in Chippenham.

Matt

Meet Matt, co-owner of Dogs Rock Ltd and Katie’s husband, who made a bold career shift in 2023, leaving behind his 20-year career as an electrician to support Katie’s vision.

When Katie faced health challenges in 2023, Matt stepped in, handling bathing, drying, and even mastering EmmiPet teeth cleaning and Pawdicures.

Together, they form the heart and soul of Dogs Rock Ltd, bringing passion, love, and expertise to every grooming session.

Alex

Now, let’s introduce Alex, the multitasking hero at Dogs Rock Ltd. From bather and dryer to receptionist and admin extraordinaire, Alex is the dog oracle with over a decade of experience in Hydrotherapy.

With a home full of 17 dogs, including Cockers, Springers, Terriers, Labradors, Collie and a Poodle! She regularly fosters dogs for rescues, showcasing her dedication to our four legged friends.

Alex, along with Katie, is an avid raw feeder, always ready to share insights and advice for those considering a switch to a raw diet for their dogs.

Ben

Ben is not just any groomer – he’s a seasoned professional with a passion for pampering pups. With qualifications in grooming, canine massage, and animal behaviour, he brings a wealth of expertise and love for dogs of all shapes and sizes.

When we planned to open the salon, I knew there was only one person I’d trust to join our team as another groomer, and that’s Ben. We are beyond thrilled to have him on board, and we know that you and your dogs will adore him as much as we do!

Ben’s dedication to his own animals– Boss and Cilla the poodles, Gucci the Pomeranian, Nala the Sphinx and Kishca the cat speaks volumes about his commitment to providing the best care possible. They’re a spoilt bunch with a wardrobe bigger than my own!

Plus, with his impressive grooming accolades, including a 2nd place win in his first ever competition, we know big things are in store for him!

Together, this dynamic quartet forms the unbeatable team at Dogs Rock Ltd, where knowledge, passion, expertise, and love for dogs come together in perfect harmony.
